What Are Your Personal Philosophies and Beliefs Behind Your Money Making Ideas?
As you begin this lesson, Explore your own personal philosophy and beliefs concerning money.
- Notice what your relationship is to money.
- Ask the question: “Do I live in the moment and spend, spend, spend because tomorrow is not promised? . . . or do I save for tomorrow?
As you continue, I want you to pause . . . and look at your life.
- Become aware of all the things you want
- Focus on what you want and how real it is in your mind
I want you to consider clearly and carefully your relationship to money.
What is your relationship to money? You may not even know.
You may be totally unaware that you have established, over the years, a peculiar and unique relationship to money, and it is your relationship to money that determines to a large degree, how you think about money, how you handle money and how you feel about money.
Do you realize, that this Totally controls how Money Comes Into Your Life? Simply put, how you relate to money is how Money relates to You. What it does, is directly in response to what you do to it.
Now, what is your relationship to money?
Do you spend everything in sight? . . . are you reckless? . . . do you harbor beliefs about money that are not true? . . . do you hoard it?
Or,
- Do you RESPECT money?
Money comes and money goes . . . may be another belief you have. Meaning, that I live for the moment because the future is not guaranteed? Although there can be many, many belief systems . . . UNDERSTAND . . . that
What you believe about Money is what Controls how you Think About Money
Your Belief System Controls Your Relationship to Money and Your Relationship to Money Controls How Money Occurs in Your Life
Or,
- Some other people have another belief system that says money is scarce
I’m sure you’ve all heard this before, Money doesn’t grow on trees.
Well, in this My Well of Wealth 30-Day Challenge you will Discover what your Personal philosophy and belief system is regarding money.
What you believe about Money Creates your Relationship towards Money which then Creates what you believe money is supposed to do and not do
Consider This:
- Is money supposed to provide me security?
- Give me a certain lifestyle?
- Give me certain elements of prestige, fame and respect?
And I’m sure you’ve heard the famous, well-known, money doesn’t by happiness. What we want to consider today is that when you respect money and establish a powerful, meaningful, and effective relationship to money, then money will come to you. In this My Well of Wealth 30-Day Challenge you will discover and realize just this.
It is like the natural occurrence of Cause and Effect. You have the ability to bring money into your life by the way you relate to money. You can Cause things Into Action just like you can Cause Money Into Action. As you continue through the lessons in this My Well of Wealth 30-Day Challenge, you will begin to see this unfold right in front of your very own eyes.
Then, we ask . . . what is your relationship to your debts?
- What do you believe about debt?
Is it something to be feared? Was it created because of the relationship you have towards it? Did your personal philosophy on money control your spending habits, leading you to where you are today? Living the life of - I want what I want and I want it now! Opening up credit card after credit card and only affording to pay the minimums. Is that living Life Powerfully?
And then we ask . . .
- How do you relate to your debt?
And then we ask . . .
- Do you hide from your debts?
And now . . .
- Do you run from your debts?
And now . . .
- Do you ignore your debts?
And finally . . .
- Do you pretend your debt does not exist, in hopes that it would go away?
The more there is in our money supply; for many, it may mean the more they can spend. Is that the way you are towards your debts? The more credit I have available is the more I can spend? Just because you have more credit available, representing more money . . . does that mean that you harbor the belief that you can spend more money?
Well, let me tell you,
This My Well of Wealth 30-Day Challenge will put you in a Powerful position to confront your debt and then lead you to the Path of Wealth Creation.
But first, are you willing to make small changes in your financial life?
Consider Being:
- Ready to confront your debts
And,
- Being willing to put a cap on how much you need to live on, as you build wealth
And,
- Being present to the fact that you can establish for yourself how much money you need and thereby, clearly identify how much of your income can go towards wealth creation venues
Okay, great!!!
Ready, Set, Go . . . Ready to go? . . .
But, what is not totally understood by many is that increasing the money supply does not mean more wealth. Are you living in a belief that if only you could get more money, you will have more wealth?
I challenge you to consider that if this is your belief:
Your belief about your debts and how to relate to your debts will impact how long your debts hang around. And believe me, they can hang around a long, long time!!!
Are you holding on to your debts by not confronting them and not dealing with them powerfully?
The only way to get rid of your debt is to pay off them off. But if you have gotten caught in false beliefs about your debts, then you won’t even look them.
You won’t even identify your debt, you won’t even open your debtors bills. Your phone calls from bill collectors will be avoided. This is a sure and certain way to keep your debts hanging around.
But the moment you begin to examine clearly, not just your beliefs about money, but your relationship towards money, it will lead you towards being empowered and in the driver’s seat of your finances.
Now, how does this sound to you?
And ask yourself:
How much do you owe? And to whom do you owe what to?
Then begin to create a plan to satisfy those debts, to pay those debts. In so doing you would develop a strong and powerful relationship to your debt.
As a Participant in the My Well of Wealth 30-Day Challenge , I would like you to do four simple steps.
STEP 1. What does Money represent to You
Write down all the things money represents to you on a sheet of paper.
- Is it for you to pay your bills?
- Is it for you to save for a rainy day?
- Is it for you to accumulate wealth?
- Is it for you to put under your mattress or put in the bank?
- Is it for you to use as leverage to invest?
- Is it for you to give away?
Or,
- Is it for you to help others?
- Is it simply for you to enjoy?
STEP 2. Financial Outcomes
List all the financial outcomes you desire if your money supply was increased. Or, what would be the financial outcome experienced if somehow you were able to increase your money supply.
STEP 3. Personal Philosophy and Beliefs
List how your personal philosophy and beliefs about money would be impacted if you were to be financially fit and had no debt.
Include these key points such as
- If you were able to have enough money to pay your monthly bills and able to save some money – i.e. not being burdened by bills, then what philosophy and beliefs would you have? What would your thought process about money be?
- How would having more than enough to pay bills, put away for savings and build wealth change your philosophy on money?
STEP 4. An Increase in Money Supply an Increase in Wealth
List what an increase in your money supply means to you.
- Would increasing your money supply mean an increase in your wealth?
