I grew up hearing this story from my Mother and Father about a woman who somehow got it wrong.  Deep down she believed that she didn’t have to work because God was going to help her.

So… every Sunday she would bring her basket of clothes to the river where everyone was washing the dirty laundry.  And she would wait all day for God to wash her clothes. Pretty soon the sun set and her clothes were not washed.  When asked why she didn’t wash her clothes she then said, “Well God promised to help me wash and so I was waiting on Him!”

Are you actually living out this story in your own personal life today when it comes to wealth building?

Like this poor woman you’re believing in error that there is no work for you to do. 

God or the government or the your boss or somebody else will help you?

Well, I just want to take a moment and dispel this myth for you right now.

I wrote a post last week about your need to Establish a Money Generating System to Create More Business & Money.  In this post I’m going to take the concepts discussed a step further.

I will share with you three powerful ideas that greatly shatter false ideas surrounding Business & Money.

• Wealth is a matter of consequence not reward
• Wealth will chase you only when you work hard to serve or bless others
• Great wealth, fame and fortune comes as a result of great service.

Wealth is not acquired based on some personal reward that comes your way on the basis of you own internal goodness.  That means you can’t just hang out and hope wealth will fall into your lap or follow you home one day because you’ve gained meritorial favor with God.

Wealth is based on consequences.

Money is payment given to you in exchange for sound thinking and hard work.

And so it follows that the harder and smarter you work the more money you will earn.

So…. if in case you were thinking that you get money based on a committee that comes together and examines whether or not you deserve it then you’d better think again.

By recognizing that wealth is a result you can now begin thinking of what does it take to produce the result?

And by breaking that concept down you can now start creating a plan that includes powerful action steps leading back to the results you are seeking to acquire.

This philosophy totally de-mystifies the notion of wealth and reconstitutes it into one of practical cause and effect.  Now we look at how to establish a plan that will will actually produce big results.  And that’s what the conversation of service is actually all about.  By engaging in actions that help, serve or bless others you actually begin to magnify the results of your actions.

Great wealth, fame and fortune will literally chase after you because of your desire to serve others.  But in order to really make this work you must find a way to master the creation of your plan and the implementation of every new action you’ve created.  You’ll might have to reinvent yourself and dramatically transform how you think and relate to both money and service.
