Do You Think You’re Alone in the Foreclosure Procedure?

Is there something about you that causes you to think you’re all alone in the foreclosure procedure?
Are you feeling like you’re the only one in your city, your town, in your neighborhood facing foreclosure?
John had these feelings. He was living in a beautiful bungalow house, three-bedroom home in the middle of a suburban area of the city in Saint Louis, and he was in the foreclosure process. He felt stuck and unable to move. Part of what held him stuck was the tremendous amount of negative self-talk he was constantly levying on himself. He called himself the worst names possible. He believed that he was the only one facing this crisis. He thought often about how stupid he was. He did not believe that there was a way out. He thought that, certainly, he was going to lose his house.
I’m here to tell you that these thoughts are the very thoughts you want to stay away from if you’re facing foreclosure.
When you’re caught without a solution, you ought to begin to adopt the attitude that that does not mean that there is no solution. It just means you haven’t found one yet.
Especially, if you are facing foreclosure and you feel you’re all alone and that you’re especially stupid because of your unique brand of the foreclosure problem, I promise you this will keep you stuck.
I just found out through some research that in the month of September alone, there were 2,710 foreclosures every single day in the United States. 2,710!
If you multiply that out times 30 days, that means that 81,300 foreclosures in the month of September. Clearly, you are not alone. What’s interesting is that the majority of those in foreclosure - yes, the majority of those 81,000 people - can find help.
Unfortunately, they fall prey to the victimization, not necessarily of the foreclosure process, but of their own negative self-talk.
I have spoken with numerous people who are facing foreclosure and over and over and over I hear them talk and say the same thing.
They feel stuck.
They have no way out.
They have no options.
They don’t know what to do.
They don’t know where to turn.
They don’t know who to turn to.
They don’t know what to say when they find the right person
Very few people who are facing foreclosure are open to the possibility of thinking new thoughts, examining new ideas and exploring new avenues.
And that is what I want to suggest in this post. That if you’re facing foreclosure and you’re feeling stuck and you’re inundated with feelings that you’re all alone, here’s my challenge to you:
If your facing the foreclosure process there are three steps I want you to embrace that will help you to begin to get out.
First, I want you to consider that your not all alone. Your not alone in the foreclosure process. Your not isolated, your not alienated, your not left alone in this mess all by yourself. Many times the weight of it bearing down on you will cause you to feel alone, but the first thing you must know is, no your not alone.
Second, I want you to embrace the reality that there are options. Yes even when you think there are not options, there are always options. There are options as long are you are willing to believe that there are options. You can always begin to think outside the box, and explore the possible options that you can take.
And thirdly, I strongly encourage you to explore and examine the Loan Negotiator Group.
